Anna Svensdotter, flutist with focus on contemporary music and extended techniques.

Since 1993 she has been on the Swedish scene for contemporary
solo- and chamber music, always with a strong musicality and personality.

News:

40f starts a collaboration with electronica musician and composer Lisa Nordström, Decomparmaids. First concert May 17 2020 at the world heritage Radiostationen Grimeton.

Ensemble GAHLMM is going on tour in November, celebrating FST - 100 years!

New ensemble, Duo Sabana, formed in collaboration with German flutist/composer Sabine Vogel.

New duo formed with My Hellgren, cello: Glowing Duo. First concert 21 October 2017 including the premiere of Glowing Duo's commission from Mirjam Tally: Luminescent seas.

Collaboration with Teater Spira and the composer Paula Matthusen (USA) The work will start in May 2017. Premiere planned in September 2018.

New solo work by Rosalind Paige in the making, to be premiered during 2018.

40f will celebrate the ensembles first 10 years during 2018 with new works by Marcus Fjellström among others.   

Ensemble Parkour, (with My Eklund, recorder, Anna Svensdotter, flute, Jörgen Pettersson, saxophone, Sten Sandell, voice, piano, electronics) has a new project, a triple quartet project together with ensembles KROCK (SE) and RANK (FI) New work commissioned by Lene Grenaager (NO) Premiere September 2017.

Anna Svensdotter has been awarded with Göteborgs cultural working grant 2013, Västra Götalands working grant 2014, and Adlerbergska konststipendiet 2014, awarded by Sällskapet Gnistan.
